Our baseball division breakouts are as follows:

Majors – Cost - $230.00. Combined with Redding Baseball, the majors players will play all of their games on the larger 50/70 field (50 feet from pitcher’s mound to home plate and 70 feet between each base) with 50/70 field rules such as leading and pickoffs. This division is for all eligible 7th graders, 6th, and 5th graders – although younger/less experienced 5th graders may choose to play in the Minors division instead by noting that in the Special Request section of Registration.

Minors - Cost - $230.00. Combined with Redding Baseball, the minors players will play on the traditional 46/60 field – features full kid pitch, stealing, etc. This division is for 5th (those choosing to not play in Majors), 4th, and 3rd graders.

*** If you are a Redding resident/player, please register with Redding Baseball and the BGCRE website ***

Rookies - Cost - $215.00. Also played on the traditional 46/60 field – features combination of coach pitch/machine pitch. Games are played with outs and players bat in a continuous lineup. There will be one practice/game during the week and one game on Saturday afternoons with strong focus on baseball fundamentals. This division is for 2nd, and 1st graders.

T-Ball - Cost - $125.00. Played on a smaller sized field with smaller team sizes (usually 6 – 8 per team).  Batters hit off of a tee while learning the fundamentals of the game including batting, fielding, & throwing. There will be one practice/game during the week and one game on Saturday afternoons with strong focus will be on baseball fundamentals.   This division is for those children in Kindergarten, Pre-K, and any child who turns 4 by April 30, 2021.

Our softball division breakouts are as follows:

T-Ball (Pre-K - 1st Grade) - $130 – Easton players only. Played on a smaller field with batters hitting the ball off a tee. The girls will learn the fundamentals of the game including hitting, fielding, and throwing. Most importantly, they will have fun.

Double A (2nd - 3rd Grade) - $130 – Combined with Redding Softball. Practices/Games will be in both towns. The field has 60 foot base paths and a 35 foot pitching distance. This division is mostly “coach pitch” and/or “machine pitch”, with some “player pitch” as the season progresses. The girls will continue to learn the fundamentals, along with outs and batting order.

Triple A (4th - 5th Grade) - $230 - Combined with Redding Softball. Practices/Games will be in both towns. The field has 60 foot base paths and a 35 foot pitching distance. This division is mostly “player pitch”, with “coach rescue” if/when needed. The girls will continue to learn the game of softball, along with the introduction of stealing, etc.

Majors / Juniors (6th - 8th Grade) - $230 - Combined with Redding Softball. Practices/Games will be in both towns. The field has 60 foot base paths and a 40 foot pitching distance. This division is entirely “player pitch”. The girls will learn more advanced rules and strategies of the game.

Fees include uniform cost. You will be required to submit payment for your registration to be complete.

Please note the following key info (specifically for 1st, 3rd, 5th graders) regarding registration and our baseball division breakout for the 2021 Spring Season: The registration website will automatically assign your child a division based on their Date of Birth. Thus, younger (born after April 30th) 5th, 3rd and 1st graders may automatically get assigned to Minors/Rookies/T-Ball at registration – we will manually fix this post-registration based on grade level.

Play-ups are at the sole discretion of the Easton Baseball League Executive Board and President. Play-ups will be granted strictly based on safety concerns. Also note, for a player to be eligible to participate in Summer baseball, they must be registered and participate in the 2021 EBL spring season.
